Gloria
"I spent my childhood in the countryside of southern Colombia before I went to Europe and learned French. I was involved with the political refugee of Latin Amercia and the theatre of Agusto Boal " El teatro al opromido" where I learned to see the social difference in the world. Then I came to the U.S. as a student and engaged in the Farabundo Marti Committee in 1984 to help the kids from El Salvador during the war.

I married and had three kids. I studied at the university  Christian Theology, Child Development and Literature and worked in public and private schools, but ultimately I decided not to remain chained to the social regulations and look for an alternative way of living. I encountered Mauricio in the US and we decided to start our own personal project back in El Salvador: a new Life.

Motivated by the constant growth of myself, I have engaged in many social, political, sportive and religious activities throughout my whole life. During this "quest", I collected the information to help me pass through Life during the sweetest and most difficult experiences. At the death of my son Jimmy in 2009, I learned to transform this tragedy in a spiritual advancement. During my 2011 journey in India, I finally renounced to all types of structured religion. I even found the stamina to climb part of a Himalayan mountain at the age of 54 years old!

I consider that we select the style of our own Life by acting daily and being awake. Although it takes courage and effort to face it, it is the most essential part of our Life. Therefore I consider this project the playground where I play “the Game of Life" and it brings me the renewal, the freshness and the creativity to continue growing. Thanks to the relationship shared with the youngsters, I have recovered my sense of humor and spontaneity."

Nomo

" Before coming to The Bubble, I had economic problems in my family. For that reason, I didn't go to school and I used to spend my whole day playing soccer. In 2013, a friend of mine invited me to the program (The Organic Bubble).
I felt so good in the program that I decided to stay & learn English. I spent my whole day in the Bubble and two months went by while I was learning. I had great experiences. I shared my first words in English with a girl from Australia.
Mauricio and Gloria helped me to get back to school. Nowadays I speak english and I feel very excited. I never thought about going to university before but now I wish I could study more and become a language teacher"
